Whats New:

-Hours of Operation
Beginning Monday, April 24, the Building Department at 211 Rock Point Drive will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and
will be closed to the public on Fridays. Building inspections will be conducted Monday through Thursday with new extended hours, and limited inspections performed on Friday under the new modified schedule. Inspection requests can be received and scheduled for next day inspections; however, all Monday inspection requests will need to be scheduled no later than Thursday 5:00 p.m. The new operating schedule will provide extended inspection and customer service hours Monday through Thursday while allowing some staff an additional day on Friday to work without interruption.   

-Fire Impact Fee for Durango Fire Protection District
On October 11, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners adopted impact fees for the Durango Fire Protection District. The fees take effect on January 1, 2023.  For more information click here!
