Food Safety Works - Safe Food Handler Training

A course for Food Service Workers that covers the basics requirements for Safe Food Handling. This course fulfills the State of Colorado requirements for food safety works as well as those needing certifications for Cottage Foods.

ServSafe Food Protection Manager Training

Registration (required) through Eventbrite.com.  Classes held at La Plata County Fairgrounds. 

ServSafe is a nationally recognized comprehensive food safety training developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.  
Participants who score 75% or higher will receive a ServSafe certificate, valid for 5 years.

2020 ServSafe Schedule  NEW in 2020, 1 - Day Training

รข??$150.00 (2 - day) or $125.00 (1 - day): Includes ServSafe® Manager text NEW 7th Edition, lunch and proctored certification exam.  Two day recommended for those with less experience or preferring interactive education offering more detail.

$115.00 (2 - day) or $95.00 (1 - day)*:  For additional business associates (up to 2): Includes participation, lunch and proctored certification exam, but no book. Must accompany a full-price participant.
*associate must be employed at same location and by the same employer
