The Meals on Wheels Program provides home-bound seniors and their caregivers with hot, delivered meals Monday through Friday.

The Transportation Program empowers the elderly, blind and disabled to maintain their independence, ensuring greater mobility, health and quality of life.

The Home Chore Program helps seniors to stay in their home as long as possible by providing work including installation of grab bars, handrails, correction of trip hazards, minor step and porch repair, small home repairs, heavy house cleaning, spring and fall yard clean-up, and limited snow removal assistance.

The Senior Health Insurance Program provides counselors trained by the Division of Insurance to provide Medicare counseling sessions one or two days per month, as needed, by appointment.

Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado (ADRC) specialists provide information and referrals to adults age 60+ and individuals with disabilities (age 18-59) to help them find resources to help support their independence and long-term care needs, including finding long-term care or housing, information on dealing with a parent or spouse with dementia, finding a caregiver, etc.

The Durango ~ La Plata Senior Center is the hub for many Support Groups.
