Affixed Manufactured Home after July 1, 2008
- Building Department
- Obtain a building permit
- Fee – Contact building department for correct fee
- Motor Vehicle Office
- Obtain form DR2180 Owners Request to Purge a MH & DR2171 Lenders Request to Purge a MH. If you have an MSO with bill of sale or an out of state title, these forms will not be needed.
- Obtain and complete the Certificate of Permanent Location form
- Building Department
- Sign Certificate of Permanent Location
- Assessor’s Office
- Will verify and sign Owners request to purge MH (DR2180) If needed and issue a Tax Authentication form
- Treasurer’s Office
- If there are any taxes due, they must be paid.
- Pay for Tax Authentication form
- Fee - $10.00
- Motor Vehicle Office
- Submit DR2180 & DR2171 to Colorado Department of Revenue. They will mail a letter verifying the purge (not required with an MSO or out of state title)

- Clerk & Recorder’s Office
- Record the Certificate of Permanent Location & Letter from Colorado Department of Revenue or MSO with bill of sale or Out of state title
- Fee - $13.00 first page, $5.00 each additional page
