1:00 p.m. – The Board has been invited to attend a virtual Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) lodging tax bill stakeholder meeting.

MONDAY, December 6
9:00 a.m. –

TUESDAY, December 7
10:00 a.m. – Planning Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:

  1. Project #2021-0087 Fun Center Expansion preliminary plan

  1. Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish
  2. Approval of the 2022 Colorado Department of Human Services Certification of Compliance for the La Plata County Department of Human Services Personnel and Merit System
  3. Ratification of a letter of support for the Southwest Colorado Council of Government's (SWCCOG) application for funding from the Federal Transit Administration's Innovative Coordinated Access and Mobility (ICAM) Pilot Program
  4. Approval of Durango Renewal Partnership Tax Increment Financing Agreement (TIF)
  5. Consideration of Resolution no. 2021-34, adoption of the 2022 La Plata County Budget
  6. Consideration of Resolution no. 2021-35, appropriating sums of money for the 2022 Budget
  7. Consideration of Resolution no. 2021-36 levying property taxes for the year 2021 to help defray the costs for the 2022 budget year

THURSDAY, December 9
4:00 p.m. – Commissioner Salka’s Bayfield Community Office Hours
Commissioner Matt Salka will hold in-person office hours in Bayfield for members of the public to meet with him to discuss county issues of interest or concern.  Commissioner Salka’s office hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Pine River Library located at 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.
