11:30 a.m. – CCAT Standing Policy Committee Meeting
The Board has been invited to attend the virtual Counties & Commissioners Acting Together (CCAT) standing policy committee meeting.
TUESDAY, March 28
10:00 a.m. - Business Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:
- Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish.
- Approval of a change of trade name from Needles Liquor to Mother Cline Liquor for Mother Cline Enterprises, LLC.
- Approval of Capital Budget Amendment for County Road 501 Mill & Overlay Project.
- Approval of the La Plata County Human Services Civil Rights Plan.
- Approval of Change Order #1 with Baron Weather, Inc. for the completion of a turn-key weather radar project.
- Approval of the updated Collaborative Management Program Memorandum of Understanding with the Colorado Department of Human Services for state fiscal year 2022-2023.
- Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between La Plata County and the City of Durango concerning construction of a doppler radar station at the Durango-La Plata County Airport.
- Approval of an appointment to the Historic Preservation Review Commission.
- Approval of appointments to the Undesirable Plant & Rodent Advisory Commission.
- Approval of five new Settlement Participation Agreements for opioid settlement funds to be used for regional opioid addiction treatment, recovery, and prevention programs.
- Approval of a letter of support for Durango Fire Protection District's application to the Action, Implementation, and Mitigation Grant.
- Ratification of a letter of support for Mountain Studies Institute's request to the Southwest Basin Roundtable for funding for research of impacts of the 416 Fire.
- Approval of appointment to the Multi-Event Center Commission.
- Consideration of Resolution 2023-10 amending the tipping fees at the Marvel and Bayfield Solid Waste Disposal Convenience Centers.
- Public Hearing for the consideration of a response to Pagosa Springs medical providers about the dissolution of San Juan Basin Public Health.

The Board has been invited to attend the Southwestern Water Conservation District’s 39th Water Seminar, held at the Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172 North in Ignacio.
