10:00 a.m. – Business Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:

  1. Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish.
  2. Ratification of a comment letter for the US Forest Service Junction-Falls Integrated Management Resource (J-FIRM) project scoping notice.
  3. Approval of certification of local approval for non-profit organization for Volunteers of America. 
  4. Approval of Intergovernmental Agreement regarding Human Services computers.
  5. Approval of Award of Bid for Weather Radar Project to Baron Weather, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $2,508,152.62 for the completion of a turn-key regional weather radar system project.
  6. Approval of Fourth Amendment to Declaration of Protective Covenants of Bodo Business Ranches Unit III to approve a change of use on parcel 566905104051 from vacant land to commercial.
  7. Approval of the delegation of authority to execute an agreement with San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) for funding for Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds for SJBPHs opioid prevention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery program. 
  8. Approval of the delegation of authority to the county manager to enter into a contract amendment with the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado for the distribution of the Social Impact Programs funding from the American Rescue Plan Act.
  9. Approval of Resolution No. 2022-23 Allocating Unanticipated 2022 Severance Tax Revenue to the Road and Bridge Fund.
  10. Approval of the First Amendment to Intergovernmental Agreement Bayfield Senior Center (Corrected).
  11. Approval of agreement and stipulation as to actual value for tax year 2020 between the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners and TBK Bank SSB.
  12. Consideration of Resolution No. 2022-22 A Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners Approving Amendments to the 2022 Budget Regarding American Rescue Plan Act Funding.
  13. Consideration of Resolution 2022-20 in support of Proposition 123, statewide funding for affordable housing.

Commissioner Clyde Church will hold in-person community office hours in Ignacio from 3 – 5 p.m. for members of the public to discuss county issues of interest or concern. Commissioner Church’s office hours will be held at the Ignacio Community Library at 470 Goddard Ave.
