Community Office Hours
Commissioner Marsha Porter-Norton will hold community office hours in Durango for members of the public to meet with her to discuss county issues of interest or concern. Commissioner Porter-Norton's office hours will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the La Plata County Administration Building located at 1101 E. 2nd Avenue.

TUESDAY, August 23
10:00 a.m. – Business Agenda Meeting
The Board will consider:

  1. Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish
  2. Ratification of a letter supporting the City of Durango's application to Colorado Department of Transportation for FTA 5311 and FTA 5310 funding
  3. Approval of a Letter of support for Axis Health System's Application to Health Resources and Services Administration to renew funding of Community Health Center Services
  4. Approval of letters of support for a National Conservation Area designation for the Dolores River corridor
  5. Approval of the Intergovernmental Agreement between La Plata County and Garfield County regarding economic assistance services
  6. Approval of a request for the waiver of the Ignacio South annexation impact report as requested by the Town of Ignacio
  7. Approval of an appointment to the Community Corrections Board
  8. Approval of a La Plata County Election Services Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Durango, Purgatory Metropolitan District and Upper Pine River Fire Protection District for the November 8, 2022 General Election
  9. Consideration of the renewal of a bed and breakfast permit for Blue Lake Ranch
  10. Consideration of Intergovernmental Agreement for Loaning of Employee to Town of Bayfield
  11. BoCC direction to pursue recommendation by the Board of Health to Dissolve San Juan Basin Public Health
