Community Custody/Electronic Home Monitoring

EHM pic

The objective of the program is to reduce the amount of jail time served by converting a portion of that time to Electronic Home Monitoring.  Offenders may be direct sentenced to the program under a plea agreement, or screened for participation after 2/3 of their sentence has been completed.  Note: this process is only used when the jail population is close to maximum capacity.  Offenders must have a local residence and be able to pay program costs in order to participate.  All offenders assigned to this program must pay an initial intake fee of $50.00 plus a fee of $12 per day the equipment is assigned to them.

As soon as you receive your sentencing order please contact the Alternative to Incarcerations Office at 970-375-2342 to set up a time to get your ankle monitor.  Calling them ahead of your scheduled start date will help insure there is enough equipment available for you to comply with the court's order.

The Community Custody office is located at:
742 Turner Drive  (MAP)
Durango, CO  81303
