The La Plata County Sheriff's Office offers fingerprinting services for the following:
1) NEW Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) applications (click here for additional information). Fingerprint appointment MUST be scheduled online when applying for your permit HERE.
CHP fingerprints: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. CHP fingerprint appointment MUST be scheduled online as part of the application process. DO NOT call for appointment.

2) COURT ORDERED fingerprints are done on Wednesdays only; must bring court order and gov't photo ID (Appointment required)

***It is essential for you to arrive to your appointment on time. Appointment slots are exactly 30 minutes and if you are late, we will have to reschedule your appointment.***
