Changes to a Liquor License

Each liquor license is unique to the owner, premises and type of license. Prior to making any changes or alterations* to any of these, the owner must receive written approval from both the La Plata County Liquor Licensing Clerk and the Colorado Department of Revenue by submitting a Permit Application and Report of Changes DR8442.

*To “alter” means:
"any increase or decrease in the capacity of the establishment; moving, adding or increasing the size of the bar; or sealing off, creating, or relocating doors or passages."
