 MONDAY, May 13

TUESDAY, May 14

7:30 a.m. – The Board has been invited to attend the La Plata Economic Development Alliance Investors meeting at the Florida Room of the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., Durango.

10 a.m. – BUSINESS AGENDA
The Board will consider:

• Approval of a proclamation declaring May as Foster Care Month
• Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish
• Approval of the renewal of a retail store liquor license and tasting permit for Animas Wine & Spirits
• Approval of a special event permit for Vallecito Lake Chamber of Commerce
• Approval of Resolution 2019-14 of the Board of County Commissioners directing the Treasurer to release $13,230.00 from the School Park Fund #228 and to pay same to Durango School District 9-R
• Ratification of letters to Senator Coram and Representative McLachlan supporting HB 19-1292, authorizing funding for the Colorado Resiliency Office
• Ratification of a letter of support for Housing Solutions' grant application for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program
• Approval of an appointment to the Lodging Tax Panel
• Approval of first contract amendment with Colorado State Land Board regarding access improvements on County Road 120 intersection
• Approval of the San Juan Basin Area Agency on Aging Proposal for Services for state fiscal year 2020
• Approval of GRVP funding agreement for improvements to the FASTLANE US 550/160 Grandview interchange project
• Approval of the submission of the 2019 grant application to the Local Government Limited Gaming Impact Program
• Approval of a letter of support for Housing Solutions for the Southwest for a grant application to the CO Housing Finance Authority for $9 million in grant funding to construct Espero Apartments
• Approval of a letter of support for Housing Solutions for the Southwest for a CO Division of Housing grant
• Consideration of a letter of request to oil and gas operators for coordination meeting

1:30 p.m. – WORK SESSION: The Board will meet with staff to discuss revisions to water regulations in Land Use Code Sec. 82-186 in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 1101 E. 2nd Ave., Durango.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

8:30 a.m. – BOARD DISCUSSION TIME: The Commissioners will meet among themselves and with staff to discuss various issues. An agenda for this meeting will be posted by Tuesday morning at: http://laplatacountyco.iqm2.com/Citizens/calendar.aspx

THURSDAY, MAY 16

10 a.m. – Commissioner Julie Westendorff will hold office hours for members of the public to meet with her to discuss issues of interest or concern in the county at the Pine River Public Library, 395 Bayfield Center Dr., Bayfield.

SATURDAY, MAY 18

9 a.m. - The commissioners have been invited to participate in the Historic Driving Tour of the Hesperus and Mayday areas, sponsored by the Historic Preservation Review Commission of La Plata County.
