Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4) upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

a) For purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(b) regarding an Intergovernmental Agreement between the United States Marshal Service and La Plata County for Housing of Federal Prisoners 

b) Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(e) regarding an Intergovernmental Agreement between the United States Marshal Service and La Plata County for Housing of Federal Prisoners

  • Update on the Durango-La Plata County Airport by Director Tony Vicari
  • Approval of county cash requirements as prepared and posted by the Finance Department and direct staff to publish
  • Approval of a tavern liquor license renewal for Durango Deli Tavern
  • Approval of the renewal of a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Durango Deli
  • Approval of the renewal of a fermented malt beverages (off premises) liquor license for Needles Country Store
  • Approval of the renewal of a tavern liquor license for Olde Schoolhouse Cafe & Saloon
  • Approval of the renewal of a bed & breakfast liquor permit for Country Sunshine
  • Approval of a special event liquor permit for Community Connections Inc.
  • Approval of a grant application for the purchase of equipment and document indexing from the Colorado Electronic Recording Technology Board (ERTB)
  • Approval of a letter of support for enterprise zone status for Fort Lewis College capital projects
  • Approval of a letter of support for Fort Lewis College to the State Historical Fund for rehabilitation and restoration of Old Fort Lewis buildings
  • Ratification of a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the establishment of a public/private partnership to jointly fund and develop a sanitary sewer study for the La Posta Road Planning Area
  • Consideration of Resolution No. 2019-22 - Iglesia De San Antonio/ Tiffany Church - historic register designation for Project #2019-0181
  • Consideration of a letter of support for Durango Parks and Recreation Great Outdoors Colorado grant request for Lake Nighthorse Recreation Area
