Civil Process

Papers to be served at an address within La Plata County only should be brought or mailed to the La Plata County Sheriff's Office at 283 Girard Street, Durango, CO 81303.

Information needed to serve a person includes a physical address and a place of employment.  Civil papers are served Tuesday through Friday.  Fees are listed below and must be paid before any attempts of serving papers will be made.
